MORNINGTIME 2662

But ye are a CHOSEN GENERATION, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, an HOLY NATION, a PECULIAR PEOPLE; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9. It's been told to young  Christians by the older Christians, "Don't set your tent pegs very deep, this isn't home and we're just passing through". Our thinking, actions, and lifestyle are to be separate, and separated from, that of and those of, the world. This old world is going down in a ball of fire and Christians don't want to be hanging on too tightly. Actually, Christians don't want to be hanging on at all. The United Nations building in New York city is full of people representing a vast variety of cultures, each with their own way of life, and lifestyle, clothing, and mannerisms. Christians should be like that, meaning seperated and distinct from all others. The problem is that many "christians" like to go through the "united nations store" and pick and choose the things of the world they like, and adopt that as their own. I'll illustrate. If The Store has a hundred items and a christian wants to pick ten separate items to call his own, he can, and he will be distinct from all others in the Store. But he'll still be living with ten items that are still, ten worldly items,  making him as a "worldly christian" with nothing "separate" about him. The only One Item a Christian can choose, is Christ, Who comes with His Own Package Deal. He Alone, is fully and completely self-sufficient with everything you need to follow ALL His Commands. And His Commands are a Joy to follow. You'll get so in Love with Christ that you won't even notice Him taking you further and further away from the love of the Things of this world. In Christ, you'll be doing things naturally that are impossible to do in the world. The Joy of Following Christ is unspeakable, meaning words can't adequately describe The Joy of Following Christ. THAT'S how to, Be Blessed.
