When thou art in TRIBULATION, and all these things are come upon thee, EVEN IN THE LATTER DAYS, if thou TURN TO THE LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) HE WILL NOT FORSAKE thee, NEITHER DESTROY THEE, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. Deuteronomy 4:30-31. Yet YE HAVE FORSAKEN ME, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more. Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation. And the children of Israel said unto the Lord , WE HAVE SINNED: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; DELIVER US ONLY, WE PRAY THEE, this day. Judges 10:13-15. For then shall be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: BUT FOR THE ELECTS SAKE THOSE DAYS SHALL BE SHORTENED. Matthew 24:21-22. These things I have spoken unto you, that IN ME YE MIGHT HAVE PEACE, (but) IN THE WORLD YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION: but be of good cheer; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD. John 16:33. Thayer's Definition of Tribulation "A pressing, pressing together, pressure. Metaphor: oppression, affliction, tribulation, distress, straits". NOWHERE in the Bible is Tribulation designed only to crush, kill, and destroy sinful man. IT IS A CALL TO CHRIST AND SALVATION, (possible a sinners last call), nevertheless, IT IS A CALL TO SINFUL MAN to come to Christ AND His Peace IN HIM. Again, Tribulation is in the world to squeeze sinners out of their apathy and into The Peace that Christ has for ALL who will call out to Him unto Salvation. Christ will Keep Believers IN PEACE, even as they GO THROUGH Tribulation. To understand this, will remove ALL FEAR of the Future, as you Live IN Christ showing sinners the Way TO Christ, unto Salvation. Tribulation is in the world, NOT IN CHRIST. Be in Peace, and, Be Blessed.
