MORNINGTIME 2696

And when the ass saw the angel of the Lord , she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff. AND THE LORD OPENED THE MOUTH OF THE ASS, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee. And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay. THEN THE LORD OPENED THE EYES OF BALAAM, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: AND HE BOWED DOWN HIS HEAD, AND FELL FLAT ON HIS FACE. Numbers 22:27-31. A man named Balaam was heading for certain death and destruction at the hand of an angel of the Lord. The Lord spoke through the mouth of the ass, Balaam repented, and was saved to now be about the Lord's Business. Here's my point. "The Gospel" was preached and a man was saved. This doesn't make the ass a Christian, just someone the Lord spoke through. The Gospel Preached, period, is still the Gospel Preached. People WILL be saved when the Gospel is preached. It doesn't matter if Billy Graham, the pope, mother Teresa, or your local preacher Preaches The Gospel in all seriousness, or as a big joke, it's still The Gospel and it still Saves. Separate the man, (or woman), from the Gospel, and the Gospel WILL STAND on its own two Feet. That man or woman may live or die in Heaven or Hell, that's a separate issue. Only the Lord Knows their Heart, but we can see the Fruit of their Life and the words from their mouth come from the Heart, and this MAY indicate/prove their Salvation, or not. Rest assured, the Gospel you preach WILL stand next to you in Judgment Day and Testify of your True Heart Attitude, and of your Salvation, or not. The Word will NOT return void. Preach The Gospel, Be Saved, and Be Blessed.
