MORNINGTIME 2706

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points TEMPTED LIKE AS WE ARE, YET WITHOUT SIN. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, AND FIND GRACE TO HELP IN TIME OF NEED. Hebrews 4:14-16. And just when is that time of need? It's every time we sin and see that we need to Repent of that sin and ask for Forgiveness. This includes willful sin, you know, when you know this "thing" is wrong, AND YOU DO OR SAY IT ANYWAY! That's when shame, sorrow and regret come flooding in and you Know you have to take it straight to the Lord in Repentance and ask for Forgiveness. Right there, at that exact moment, is when Satan comes flooding in with his version of heavy guilt and the words, "You've gone too far this time. You know God can't forgive WILLFUL sin because you've purposely sinned IN HIS FACE and put your desires above Obedience. What kind of so called Christian are you anyway"? THAT'S the moment of greatest shame and embarrassment, and that's when you CAN run straight to the Lord and work it out with Him. He WILL be there for you, He WILL listen to you, AND HE WILL FORGIVE YOU. The hard part is Forgiving yourself for being so disobedient. Oh yes, the Holy Spirit WILL deal with you after you fall at the Feet of Christ in Repentance, but the Forgiveness that now floods in makes it all worth it. This doesn't mean go sin again, but it does mean if you DO sin again, there IS Forgiveness waiting at the end. Satan will do everything he can to keep you from the Throne of God. He can't physically stop you, but he will play some serious head games with you. His version of guilt is serious Condemnation. The Holy Spirit's version of guilt will push you to move into Repentance to receive Forgiveness. There's a big difference on how to, Be Blessed.
