MORNINGTIME 2710

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days (of the old covenant of sin and sacrifice, sin and sacrifice), saith the Lord, I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR HEARTS, AND in their MINDS will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember NO MORE. Hebrews 10:16-17. This is absolutely wonderful GOoD News for the Believers, the Followers of Christ. The Laws of the Lord will ever be in their minds and hearts Guiding them in the Way they shall go. This Guidance is wanted and desired as it helps direct the feet of the Believers down the Path of Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity. Correction and Admonition is the Plan for the day as Obedience to the Leading of the Holy Spirit is Normal. But this "in their hearts" thing is a double edged Sword. For the unbeliever, the person still living in the ways of the world, this is like a big noose around their neck. These Laws now float around in their minds and hearts, we'll call them "conscience", and are a constant reminder of sin and sinning, all day long. These Laws SHOULD lead someone to Repentance and Forgiveness in Christ. But if not, then the only path they have, in the world, is to sear, to harden, the conscience and try to cast it aside as something to try to forget. As time moves on, they become  hardened to receiving the Word of the Lord. Remember, that Word, is like a noose around the neck constantly reminding them of the Sin in their life. You can, and should, speak to them of Christ's Offer of Salvation as the needed solution to the Sin Problem. You can give The Word, but only the Holy Spirit can break through the years of hardened Crust trying to cover their Conscience. You may be rebuffed many times, before the Holy Spirit can break through. Hang in there, how many times did people tell you about Christ, before you finally listened? Can you show them the same Patience you were shown? The Wait WILL be worth it, and they WILL, Be Blessed.
