MORNINGTIME 2714

And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (OF WHOM THE WORLD WAS NOT WORTHY:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, RECEIVED NOT THE PROMISE: Hebrews 11:36-39. Many Christians have lived long "full" lives of Serving the Lord. Some have lives relatively "short" lives for a specific purpose, right Stephen? And some seem to live in major Trials, Troubles, Testings, and Tribulations. These four "T"s are the main focus of Hebrews 11:36-39. They also represent all the terrible, dastardly, and viscous things worldly sinners do to Christians under the leadership of Satan himself. So here's my question. With all that Satan has done during the last 6,000 years, is there anything more deadly or hurtful that he can do to people for our last few remaining years before Christ returns? If there is, what are they? If there isn't, what more in the future is there to fear? Yes, people will be going nuts during the 3.5 years (?) of the Great Tribulation, so "what else is new"? What more is there to fear? Will not the Mighty Right Arm of the Lord move for His People? People live, people die, Satan will be angrier because his time is short, BUT HE STILL HAS TO GO THROUGH THE THRONE ROOM BEFORE HE CAN TOUCH A CHRISTIAN. Many verses testify that there will be a catching away of the Believers when Christ returns, and it will be a very loud and Victorious Return. There is nothing to back up the 150 year old idea of a secrete Rapture. Why focus on the trouble ahead, when we really should focus on THE FACE OF CHRIST, to read and study Him and His Word, to Grow in CHRISTLIKENESS, Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity? Live in Christ, Die in Christ, and Forever, Be Blessed.
