Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the ((unsaved)) Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:31-34. (You've got enough stuff going on in your life to keep you busy for today without worrying about tomorrow). ASK, and it shall be given you; SEEK, and ye shall find; KNOCK, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh RECEIVETH; and he that seeketh FINDETH; and to him that knocketh it shall BE OPENED. Matthew 7:7-8. For where your treasure is, THERE WILL YOUR HEART BE ALSO. Luke 12:34. Tada, 🎵, and with a little twisting, YOU NOW HAVE THE PROSPERITY GOSPEL!!! God means these verses for good, and Satan uses these verses for evil. The world is looking for food, shelter, clothing, and money. If you'll just come to Jesus, YOU CAN HAVE ALL THIS SAME STUFF, AND MORE!!! GOD'S A SUGAR DADDY. So what's missing in all this? There is no OBEDIENCE in any of this, it's all just GET, GET, GET. Let's back up for a minute and look at the first, foremost, and most important part of all this, Matthew 6:33. But SEEK YE THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS; If this is your only Heart's Cry, with a Pure Heart before the Lord, He can Bless your socks off, OR HE CAN THROW YOU INTO SOLITARY CONFINEMENT, and you'll still be Happy in, and with, Christ. He can now use you, or "abuse" you, because to you it doesn't matter, as long as HE gets ALL the Glory, Praise, and Honour. Christ is First AND ONLY. Christ is not tied TO you just to bless you, (the prosperity gospel), but you are Tied TO Christ TO BLESS HIM. Now go and, Be Blessed.
