MORNINGTIME 2724

But my God shall supply ALL YOUR NEED(S) according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:19-20. The prosperity gospel deceivers have taken this verse and proclaimed that after preaching a good sermon, they're tired and need a boat on the lake to relax, and hear a new word from the lord. And yes, a new Criscraft® will do very nicely. And "the church" buys him one. Believers, cut them some slack, that boat, car, house, and new white teeth, will be their ONLY reward here in earth, because they sure won't get  any in the lake of fire. OK, so what to us Believers NEED? Yes, some food, something to wear, something warm in the cold, and the Lord has already said not to worry about those things, He knows all about them. Actually, we're not too worry about ANYTHING. Do we have any other needs besides the basics just mentioned? Yes, let's ask for, AND RECEIVE, any and all chastening, chastisement, correction, trials, troubles, testings, AND tribulations THAT THE LORD HAS DETERMINED THAT WE NEED TO CONFORM US ALL THE WAY INTO CHRIST AND CHRISTLIKENESS. Yes, He'll also throw in some glories, honours, and blessings to comfort us during our "hard times", but that's His Call. OUR Goal as Believers is to first and foremost become like Christ, as much as is possible here on This Side, while on this earth. Christ "Paid It All" and it's up to us at ask for all that Christ Paid For, for each one of us. ALL THESE THINGS ARE GOoD THINGS HERE ON THIS SIDE. And yes, even ask for Patience, that IS a part of being like Christ. And just to be sure we don't miss anything, if tribulation is GOoD for the Believer, THAN GREAT TRIBULATION WILL BE GOoD FOR THE FINISHED BODY OF CHRIST, THE ULTIMATE POLISHING, if you will, to be without ANY spot, blemish, or wrinkle. What a way to go to see Christ. Who cares how or when we die, it's only through death, (with no more sting), that we will fully see Christ, and, Be Blessed.
