The thing that HATH BEEN, it is that which SHALL BE; and that which IS DONE is that which SHALL BE DONE: and THERE IS NO NEW THING UNDER THE SUN. Ecclesiastes 1:9. If I may, "THERE IS NO NEW SIN UNDER THE SUN". Every sin out there has already been done, so no matter what kind of new way to sin can be thought up, it has already been done. If a man wants to kill another man with a stick, it's already been thought up, and done. If a man wants to kill another man with a stick that has gun powder and a bullet in it, it too has already been done. The "toys" to accomplish sin may change and be newer or different, but the desire to sin has been around since time began. Sin is a heart attitude, and no amount of legislation will stop a man from sinning. If a man wants to do harm to another man, a new law against an "object" to sin may change HOW he sins against his brother, but it won't change the heart attitude TO sin. Deaths by sin using this "toy" may go down for a moment or two, but death by sin will still continue on in one form or another. On paper, deaths caused by "x" may look like they are decreasing, but that's just a smoke screen designed to take your eyes off the real issue. That issue is, until sin is addressed in a person's life, that person is going to die and go to Hell. Satan doesn't care HOW you sin, he just wants you to keep on sinning. Only Christ, and His Blood, can change a sinners heart attitude to a Saved and Saviour attitude. It doesn't matter the weapon of choice to sin with, if one gets banned, a sinner will find another to use. Sin is discontentment with things around you, and ONLY Christ and His Shed Blood can give you a Peace, Joy, and Contentment that will cause you to stop sinning, and start Praising the Lord, both now, and for all Eternity. Banning "toys" is only temporary, banning Sin from your Life through Christ and His Shed Blood, is FOREVER. Ban sin, change Lives around you, and, Be Blessed.
