But as he which hath called you is holy, so BE YE HOLY IN ALL MANNER OF (LIFE'S ACTIVITIES); Because it is written, Be ye holy; FOR I AM HOLY. 1 Peter 1:15-16. Most people who are "Pre-trib Rapture" believers will sail right on past these 2 verses solidly printed in black and white, or even red and white, and anchor all their faith and hope on the invisible verses proclaiming the possible erroneous teaching of the "Pre-trib Rapture" theology. Up until less than 200 years ago, there never was a pre-trib Rapture teaching anywhere to be found in any old school preaching notes and sermons. This is a very "new" theology. Do you REALLY want to Bet your ETERNITY on that??? Back up to the "Be ye Holy" part for a minute, right now, ARE YOU READY? Are you as Holy as it takes to get into Heaven? Is there a "percentage" scale to judge yourself by? Will "I'm 50% holy, that's enough to get me in", be enough? Or is it ALL Heart Attitude of, forget the future, "I need to grow in Christ more today, Lord help me, I don't think I'm ready yet ".? Yes, I'm sounding legalistic here just to get you to think about all this. Yes, Christ is FULL of Mercy and Grace, AND DOES REQUIRE SOME LEVEL OF HOLINESS. I don't know what that Level is, but it's enough that He put it in the Bible for us to ask Him about. Meeting Christ in the air in the "Rapture" IS an event, but "BE YE Holy" is a qualifier TO GET TO that event. Read, study, and Live, "Be Ye Holy", and Christ will meet you somewhere, sometime, in His Plan. Skip over "Be Ye Holy" and you just may skip His Plan, and be swept off to the left screaming, "But Lord, Lord, we did this and that in your name", into Eternal Damnation. Don't get legalistic and defend yourself, get HOLY and defend Christ and HIS WORD to a lost and deceived, dying world. Don't hope for the un-biblical, Live The Bible, and hear those Precious Words, "Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter into the Joy of thy Lord, and, Be Blessed.
