MORNINGTIME 2757

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23. Translation? It's actually easier to go to Heaven than it is to go to Hell. If someone wants to give you a Gift, he will usually hold it out close to you so you don't have to make too much effort to Receive it. It's something he thinks will be of interest to you and desires that you be interested enough to reach out and Receive his gift. Sometimes it as easy as, "Close your eyes and hold out your hands", and he'll even place the Gift in your hands. You still have to show some interest, but it will be an easy Gift to Receive. On the other hand, when you have a job to do before you can receive your paycheck, you generally have to work that job for a week or so, work it according to your Boss’s instructions, and then, if he approves of your work, THEN, you have Earned your paycheck. When Christ  stands in front of you with the Gift of Eternal Salvation in His Hands, a Gift fully "Paid For" by His Own Shed Blood, and says, "Here, this is for you, just Follow Me and I will Give to you Eternal Life, for My Yoke is easy and My Burden is light", it just can't get any easier than that. A "Paid In Full" gift to easily Receive, or work hard and earn, by your own doings, the wages of Sin, being Eternal Damnation. With His Gift held out in front of you, by default, if you DON'T take it, you have Rejected It, and that Rejection is to choose a life of eternity WITHOUT Christ. Eternal Life WITH Christ, or eternal death without Christ, NOW CHOOSE, it IS that simple. Religion can only offer you rules and regulations, things YOU must do to earn eternal Damnation, and Work You Will. Christ offers Relationship with you, and the Triune Godhead. It's a "three for one" package deal. When you choose to Follow Christ, He'll tell the Father you're His, and He'll send you the Holy Spirit to help you Follow Him in the Way you should go. It doesn't get any better than, Be Blessed.
