MORNINGTIME 2779

If any man speak, LET HIM SPEAK AS THE ORACLES OF GOD; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: THAT GOD IN ALL THINGS MAY BE GLORIFIED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11. If you're going to speak, let it be quality words, as if it were the Words of the Lord, even Scripture, and then, let it be short and sweet, and to the point. This really is one tough Standard, if this is a Standard you really want to live by. Let's look at this through the Eyes and Words of Christ. He never complained, He always told the Truth, He meant what He said and He said what He meant. His stories and parables were always  To The Point. He spoke The Truth, but never as a Gossip or a tale bearer. He was accused of many things, and was finally found guilty of Being the Son of God, as when He called God, His Father. If Christ were walking around on the earth today, what Words would He use, and how would He talk about, the guy that cut you off in traffic, the Preacher at church that had a hard time preaching his sermon, or being falsely accused of doing something He didn't do? Are YOUR responses to these same questions, the same Words that Jesus would have said? Are you Growing in CHRISTLIKENESS to such a degree that people can't tell the difference between you talking, and Christ talking through you? Oh yes, that's a VERY high Standard to go for, or would you rather go for some lower standard and tell people that this lower standard is more relevant to life today? If Christ IS Perfection, how much IMperfection do you want to allow in your life? Your Conversation? Your thoughts and ways of doing things? If you like, the Holy Spirit will help you move and grow towards and into that Christ-like Perfection. It will take the rest of your Life to do so, but what a Goal to aim for. Is Christ worth this challenge to you? Or is a lessor goal just as good. What Goal do you want to strive for that you will, Be Blessed?
