MORNINGTIME 2794

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth TAKE HEED, (he very careful), lest he fall. There hath no TEMPTATION taken you but such as IS COMMON TO MAN: but God is faithful, who will not suffer (allow) you to be tempted above that ye are able (to withstand); BUT WILL with the temptation also MAKE A WAY TO ESCAPE (the temptation), that ye may be able to bear it. Wherefore, my dearly beloved, FLEE from idolatry. 1 Corinthians 10:12-14. This is a very nice way for the Lord to say that if you fall for some temptation, you will have no excuse or reason to stand on for why you fell. Years ago, there was a comedian who frequently gave the excuse, "The devil made me do it". Sorry guys, the devil can't make you do anything. Even the Gaderine Demoniac, a man full of demons, RAN to Christ for help as soon as he understood he could be "Saved". There are no new temptations out there, they have ALL been around since Satan was cast out of Heaven. Satan loves to play in one's head and OFFER tasty little temptations that, IF HEEDED, will lead to Sin, and if not dealt with, could even lead to death, both physically AND spiritually. But this doesn't have to end this way. No matter what kind of temptation is after you, Christ has already Paid For and made a Way Of Escape for you. He Always has a way of escape, a way out, a path to NOT sin. If you DO sin, it's because you CHOOSE to, remember, you have no excuse TO sin. To not give in to temptation can be a simple as, turn off the TV or computer, turn away from that picture, or  don't go into that store. BUT IF YOU DO GIVE IN TO TEMPTATION AND SIN, run to Christ, Repent, and ask for Forgiveness. Learn where you messed up and don't make the same mistake again. The Holy Spirit WILL direct your path if you will listen to, and Obey Him, as He leads you away from temptation and sin. All temptations stem from, the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. Reject these, and, Be Blessed.
