MORNINGTIME 2801

If any man see his BROTHER sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask (the Lord), and (the Lord) shall give him Life for them that sin not unto death. THERE IS A SIN UNTO DEATH: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and THERE IS A SIN NOT UNTO DEATH. 1 John 5:16-17. A "brother” is anyone who needs Christ, and a Brother is anyone who needs MORE of Christ. This covers anyone and everyone on the face of the earth. The sin unto death is when a person ultimately decides to Reject Christ, to never turn TO Christ, and to die in his Sins. ONLY the Lord Knows someone's Heart and ONLY the Lord Knows someone's eternal destination. WE KNOW NONE OF THESE THINGS, therefore, we are to pray without ceasing for all, especially for those the Lord puts on our heart to pray for, at that moment. Even at that moment, it's still their call to Follow Christ, or not, to receive Christ, or not. You may Pray for someone for years, and they still Fully Reject Christ all the way to the day they die. Others will Follow Christ unto Salvation and Eternity with Him. It's not up to us to decide if someone is "worthy" of our prayers, or not. (Who are we to be worthy of ANYTHING)? There are occasions when the Lord will specifically tell someone to stop praying for someone, and that's that. Otherwise, "Pray for them all, and let the Lord sort it all out". How many people gave up on Saul of Tarsus thinking he, (the Apostle Paul), would NEVER come to Christ? A "lost" man is till fair game for Salvation until the moment he dies, THEN it's too late, stop praying. There is no "purgatory" and you don't get to pray them out. But while they're still breathing, there's still hope. As you learn to "Pray Unceasingly", you'll hear the Lord tell you who to pray for, even though you may never see the results, on this side. Besides, this Life is not first about seeing results or not, but about being Obedient to the Will of the Lord. And that's one Way to, Be Blessed.
