MORNINGTIME 2823

For if that which is done away (the Old Testament Shadow of Christ) was glorious, much more that which remaineth (the New Testament Picture of Christ) is glorious. Seeing then that we have such hope, (in Christ), we use great plainness of speech (to tell you all about the Beautiful Picture of Christ): And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to (see) the end of that (dimming or dulling of the Reflected Glory of Christ shining from the face of Moses) which is abolished (when Christ came in His Fullness with the New Testament): But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail (of unbelief) untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.  But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.  Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail (of unbelief) shall be taken away (that people may now Believe). Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is , there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass  (a mirror), the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the (Holy) Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:11-18. The Old Testament is Packed  Full of pictures of the soon to come Christ. The Prophets, and Moses, knew "something" was coming and they did their best to try to describe even the "Shadow" of Christ. "Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace (of Christ) that should come unto you": 1 Peter 1:10. Moses and the Prophets could never fully Understand the coming Christ and Salvation. We now see and understand the Fullness of Christ and His Work on the Cross. And for us Believers now looking back, we can see Christ all over the Old Testament. EVERYTHING points to Christ. But the unbeliever still doesn't see Christ, because he still has on a vail of Unbelief. Believe, and, Be Blessed.
