O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged. 2 Corinthians 6:11-13. This is basically an address to the Believers telling them that the "Heart" of the Apostles goes out to them, to call them into compliance with the Word. To set their intellect, mind, desires, and emotions on the Things of the Lord, to stay True to the Teachings of Christ. "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath RIGHTEOUSNESS WITH UNRIGHTEOUSNESS? and what communion hath LIGHT WITH DARKNESS? And what concord hath CHRIST WITH BELIAL? or what part hath he that BELIEVETH, WITH AN INFIDEL? And what agreement hath the TEMPLE OF GOD WITH IDOLS? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and BE YE SEPARATE, saith the Lord, AND TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18. Now that Paul has specified that he's talking to just Believers, he gives illustrations of what they are to do, and what they are not to do. It's understood that we have to live IN this sinful world and interact with sinful people, but we Believers are not to take on their ways, words, and wills, as that leads to destruction. This especially applies to Marriage, a very serious lifelong Commitment. And not far behind that is being in Business, with its commitment to worldly ways and practices. The Lord is saying, "If you want to call yourself Mine, keep moving toward what's Holy, Righteous, and Pure, in all of your Life Activities, and you'll receive of all my Blessings, Benefits, and Backing". THEN, you WILL, Be Blessed.
