MORNINGTIME 2855

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR: 1 Peter 5:8. (VERSUS), Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. BUT THE LORD IS FAITHFUL, who shall stablish you, AND KEEP YOU FROM EVIL. 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3. So on one hand Satan has power to devour, yet on the other hand, God will keep you. How's that work? You must first understand that Christ has TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY DEFEATED SATAN. At his worst, Satan is like a dog on a leash, he can ONLY attack, ONLY as far a the leash will allow. Living IN CHRIST means if you are a Christian, if you are now OWNED by Christ, then you are under the Full Protection OF Christ, and Satan can't touch you EXCEPT, AND ONLY, when the Lord Jesus Christ allows Satan VERY LIMITED authority for a VERY LIMITED attack, TO SHOW YOU YOU STILL HAVE AN AREA NOT FULLY GIVEN OVER TO CHRIST. What Satan means to harm you with, God will use to Grow you in Christ. Christians DO NOT have a "trouble free" life, but they DO have a Life free of satanic attacks EVERY TIME SATAN WANTS TO ATTACK. Satan MUST ask permission FROM GOD HIMSELF, and receive permission, before he can even lay one finger against you. ONLY those requests that actually "make it through the Throne Room", will be allowed, TO GROW YOU IN CHRIST. On the other hand, if you are still a worldly man not Following Christ, then Satan does have greater "free reign" to buffet you more as he likes. Satan is The Ruler of this world "Seeking whom he may devour", but he is still limited in what the Lord will allow him to do. The Lord will still do, and use, anything and everything He can to call a Lost Sheep back to Christ, AND ALL LOST SHEEP WILL COME BACK TO CHRIST. But "goats" will NEVER come to Christ, BY THEIR OWN CHOICE. Choose Christ, and, Be Blessed.
