MORNINGTIME 2872

It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him , we shall also live with him : If we suffer, we shall also reign with him : if we deny him , he also will deny us: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. 2 Timothy 2:11-13. Have you ever been told, "Yes, you have to live IN Christ, just take it by faith, and do it", but you never are told HOW to do it? Let's try this and see if it helps. When you "got saved", you (hopefully) met Christ, saw your wretchedness, His Holiness, and ran to Christ to never let go. When you got baptized, you symbolically went down into the water as a wretch, and came up New, in Christ. Good. Let's look at that very closely. (Keep in mind the basic ground rule now, if you sin, get Forgiven, learn  from it, and keep going on). OK, try this very slowly. When you go down in the water, your actual "old man life" literally dies, and if nothing else happened, you would be dead. As that old man life is dying, the New Life Of Christ Himself, is replacing the old and you come up out of the water literally full of the actual Life Of Christ IN YOU. Through Salvation, (which of itself is enough to get into Heaven), and Baptism, you are telling the world AND your old life, that you COMPLETELY Belong to Christ, that HE OWNS YOU AND EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU IS NOW HIS, AND THAT HE CAN DO ANYTHING WITH YOU THAT HE WANTS TO. No, this is not playing head  games, this is your new mindset in and with Christ. Think of this as an actual Physical Event for you, and a Spiritual Event for Christ. His Spirit is now physically inside you. The thoughts you think are now going through the Mind of christ. The actions you do are with the Hands and Feet of Christ. Now stop right here and understand, CHRIST NEVER SINS, this is about you IN Christ, and when you do sin, the Holy Spirit in you quickly shows you your sin that you have done against Christ, sorrow and anguish hit, and you run for Forgiveness. You're Learning, more tomorrow, Be Blessed.
