MORNINGTIME 2875

Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:14-15. Say what??? Let's try this again. "Of these things put (new Believers) in remembrance (of those things Christ taught), charging (new Believers) before the Lord that they strive not about (useless) words (that) profit (no one), but (bring great confusion and doubts) to (ultimately destroy the small faith of) the hearers". In order to rid your mind of time wasting arguments that run circles around nothing, you must read, study, ponder on, think about, and fill your mind with, The Gospel, the Words of Christ. Only Christ and His Words will wash away the filth of useless, worldly arguments that prove nothing and go nowhere. To fill your mind with Truth will automatically push out the junk of "stupid talk". As you study, the words of Christ will start to make more and more sense and understanding, and at the same time the foolishness of the world and its ways will become more and more confusing as you gladly trash your old worldly ways of thinking. And as you Study all the things He teaches you, you'll find a growing desire to share these New (to you) Understandings with others. Their Eternal Destiny will become paramount in your talk as you apply Christ to their life, and the Holy Spirit shows them their sins, their Need for Christ, and maybe even sends Salvation into their Life. When you Share Christ with "everyone", some are actually seeking Truth unto Salvation. But don't get discouraged when many, or even most, turn away and go back to their old worldly ways. Simply preach to all, and let the Holy Spirit sort them out. Small Salvation Victories will cover a multitude of "lost, rejection" of your Words of Christ. Be Faithful to Christ, and, Be Blessed.
