MORNINGTIME 2876

But shun profane and vain babblings: FOR THEY WILL INCREASE UNTO MORE UNGODLINESS. And their word will eat as doth a CANKER, (gangrene): of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and OVERTHROW THE FAITH OF SOME. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, THE LORD KNOWETH THEM THAT ARE HIS. And, LET EVERY ONE that nameth the name of Christ DEPART FROM INIQUITY, (profane and vain babblings). 2 Timothy 2:16-19. One illustration of this "profane and vain babblings", would be to argue about the theory of evolution. This is a godless idea that man made himself because there was no god, that everything came from nothing and magically, poof, and here we are. To argue any of this is a great time waster and always comes to no good. If your conversation includes, "God said", then if they have any interest in TRUTH, they will ask for more and listen to your Biblically sound words. This will quickly separate the sheep from the goats, the Truthers from the liars. It's always a waste of time to ARGUE with a liar. To spend time presenting Biblical Truth and Sound Biblical Doctrine to someone is always a good investment in their Future. Even if they don't agree with you right then, THEY ARE HEARING THE GOSPEL, THE WORD OF GOD, and the results of that are always in the Lords Hands. Remember, Preaching and Teaching are "planting and watering" the seeds of the Gospel in someone's Heart and Spirit, and the Harvest comes in the Lord's Time. Plus, when you're talking Bible with one person, there's no telling who may be listening "just around the corner". It's always interesting to talk "Bible" with one person who just tries to argue, and later get feedback from 3 others Hungry For More that you didn't know were listening. Keep your talk plain, simple, and Biblical because His Words will travel to places you have no idea about. That Way, MANY will, Be Blessed.
