MORNINGTIME 2881

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;  And THAT THEY MAY RECOVER THEMSELVES out of the snare of the devil, WHO ARE TAKEN CAPTIVE by him at his will. 2 Timothy 2:25-26. A Meek Teacher or Preacher is NOT one who gets walked on by unbelievers, but is one who KNOWS their place in the Lord, their place with man, AND their place with Satan. Yes, they Know when to "take a hit" and turn the other cheek, being very Patient watching for an opening to inject Christ into the conversation, watching as the Holy Spirit goes to work. Remember, "Meekness" is Authority Under Control. As an illustration, Moses could call down death and destruction anytime he wanted to, but he was Under the Control of Almighty God, and he KNEW when and how to Move as the Lord Directed. Today, a U. S. President has Authority over a bullet to an A-bomb, and the Control to Know when and where to use, or not use, as he determines. A lost person may be very confused, hurt, and angry because they are under the authority of Satan, and as they talk to a Meek Preacher, the Preacher will listen, Discern,  and carefully speak, AS THE HOLY SPIRIT DIRECTS. With Godly Council, the lost person can be guided out from under the authority of Satan, and under the Authority of God, IF THAT LOST PERSON WANTS TO. Remember, Christ will "show the Way", but He won't make someone go where they don't want to go. No one HAS to be Saved, it's completely their choice. "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to (Satan), the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience": Ephesians 2:2. Satan has authority in this world, but Christ has ALL Authority EVERYWHERE. Christ IS All Powerful, and He will share that Power with anyone who Knows His Authority, and is Obedient TO that Authority. Learn "Meekness", Save the lost, and Christ will, Be Blessed.
