MORNINGTIME 2889

If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, THOU SHALT BE A GOOD MINISTER of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and EXERCISE THYSELF rather UNTO GODLINESS. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but GODLINESS IS PROFITABLE UNTO ALL THINGS, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living GOD, who IS THE SAVIOUR OF ALL MEN, specially of those that believe. 1 Timothy 4:6-10. You can be CALLED a "minister" if you go through classes and courses designed and taught by man, and agree with the theology of those men. Do these things, and men will recognize you as one of their "ministers". To be CALLED a minister, is just a title before your name. To be CALLED a minister is a goal that you then work towards, and if you pass all the tests, they will CALL you a minister. POOF, you are now declared to be a minister of the theology and teachings man has taught you, whatever that may be. A CHRISTIAN doesn't want to BE a minister, a Christian DOES minister. The Heart's Desire of a Christian is to share the GOoD News of Christ with the world. The Goal of the Christian is to Study, Learn, and apply GODLINESS first to his own Life, as the Holy Spirit teaches him, AND to share with others his real Life Understanding of Godliness in his own Life. As you Learn Godliness, you will Walk in Godliness, and can very easily Teach Godliness to others, BECAUSE GODLINESS IS A GROWING PART OF YOU. As Rivers of Living Waters, you can't hold back Christ, and Christ in you. A man of the world wants the title "minister". A Christian doesn't care about a title, he just MINISTERS Godliness to others (as the Holy Spirit directs). Many minister worldliness, a few minister Godliness, what do you minister, that you may, Be Blessed?
