Behold, WHAT MANNER OF LOVE THE FATHER HATH BESTOWED UPON US, that we should be called the SONS OF GOD: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 1 John 3:1-3. Most of us Believers really have no full understanding of just how deep this type of Love goes, because our standard of Love is generally much different than someone who has been adapted. I'm going to speak in generalities just to make a point. Up until the 1960's, "most" families consisted of Mom, Dad, maybe Brothers and Sisters, a puppy dog, and a white picket fence. The typical "Leave it to Beaver" family. You were Born into that family and had to be accepted by all, BECAUSE YOU WERE BORN INTO THAT FAMILY. Whether you were a "good" family member, or a trouble causer, you were "in" and no one could do much about it. Love was "normal", or required, but you were Loved by all and you were pretty much "stuck" in that Family. Now, here comes a Mom and Dad, who aren't able to have their own children, to the orphanage, to Pick a child out from the many available, and take him, or her, Home to be in their little Family. This is a LOVE that runs way deeper than anything most of us can relate to. In God's Family, He went out into this sin filled world, looked through the garbage, AND FOUND YOU. He CHOSE to bring you Home, into His Family, into His Beautiful Mansion, EVEN THOUGH YOU WERE COVERED IN GARBAGE. He didn't try to clean you up first, and after you were made "acceptable", THEN give you a HUG, no, even with a Suit Coat and Tie on, He reached down into the filth, AND GAVE YOU THE BIGGEST LOVE HUG YOU CAN NEVER IMAGINE. So unless you're going to run away from The Family, you're IN for Life, and Life Everlasting. How's THAT for, Be Blessed?
