And the Lord said unto Satan, HAST THOU CONSIDERED my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Job 1:8. And the Lord said unto Satan, HAST THOU CONSIDERED my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst Me against him, to destroy him without cause. Job 2:3. (And Job later replied to the Lord,) Then said his wife unto (Job), Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. WHAT? SHALL WE RECEIVE GOOD AT THE HAND OF GOD, AND SHALL WE NOT RECEIVE EVIL? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. Job 2:9-10. The story of Job is an amazing one, and it's one that has great Faith Building Properties to it. Job was "attacked" by Satan as hard and as violently as Satan could go. And that's the point, SATAN COULD ONLY GO SO FAR, AND NO MORE. He, Satan, had to get permission from the Lord before he could even lift a finger against Job. The technical term for this is, "It has to go through the Throne Room before it will ever get to you". SATAN CAN'T TOUCH YOU, unless and until his requests go through the Throne Room. Maybe you're living a very Blessed Godly Life and sudden "bad stuff" befalls you. Do you curse God? Or do you Praise Him, Honour Him, and Worship Him anyway? This can be a test from the Lord to show YOU your Heart Attitude towards the Lord, or it can be to show OTHERS around you of the Mercy and Grace of the Lord towards His People. Either way, any way, whatever way, are you willing to allow the Lord to use you in whatever Way He Wants that will bring Praise, Honour, and Glory to His Name? He is continually molding and shaping us to be more like Him, and that means death to your flesh, self, and old man nature, where you'll ALWAYS, Be Blessed.
