But HE THAT RECEIVED THE SEED into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon WITH joy receiveth it; Yet hath he NOT ROOT IN himself, but dureth for a while: for when TRIBULATION or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he IS OFFENDED. Matthew 13:20-21. Tribulation in the world is thought of as "God's angry at me", "God is so mean", "My life is miserable", and the like. Tribulation in the Life of the Believer IS ALWAYS FOR HIS GOOD. It's one means the Lord uses to cut away flesh, self, and the old man nature. In your "learning curve", if your Faith has grown to the place where you believe that Tribulation will grow you in the Lord, then doesn't it follow that Great Tribulation will REALLY Grow you in the Lord? Let's look at the Church, the True Body of Christ. I'm convinced that the coming Great Tribulation will be the final step in Growing, and Building The Church, The Bride of Christ, into as close to Perfection as the Lord will do to His Corporate Body, on this earth, as has never been done, CORPORATELY, all of us together. AND, as a side benefit, all the worldliness of and with the unbelievers, will be separated out of the Body. No more "christian wanna-bes", no more phonies, no more wolves in sheep's clothing, just Pure Believers for Christ to Come Back for His Bride. These Believers are no "better" than the Believers  of Old, BUT are just a Corporate Body being squeezed free from the world CORPORATELY. ALL of one Mind, ALL with the Mind Of christ, ALL Showing and Living in Pure CHRISTLIKENESS, in the Face of a dead and dying world, for 3 reasons. First, to gather up the last of the Lost Sheep, second, the Lord will show the world that He CAN keep His People Alive and Well in the midst of total Death and Destruction, and thirdly, God WILL receive ALL the Praise and Glory of the Believers AND the Acknowledgement of ALL unbelievers THAT GOD IS, and that He will NOT be denied. This is how The Lord God Almighty will, Be Blessed
