MORNINGTIME 2918

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for WHAT FELLOWSHIP HATH RIGHTEOUSNESS WITH UNRIGHTEOUSNESS? and what communion hath light with darkness? And WHAT CONCORD HATH CHRIST WITH BELIAL? or what part hath he that believeth, with an infidel?  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.  Wherefore COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, and BE YE SEPARATE, saith the Lord, and TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, SAITH THE LORD ALMIGHTY. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18. A Christian is supposed to leave the things of the world and focus his eyes on Christ, and never look back. We are to strive to be Holy, as God is Holy, He's our example. We are to talk to people about the Lord, and not participate with them in their sins. We have been Forgiven of all our old sins and evil ways, and are told to never go back to them. We are to encourage one another in things that are Pure, Righteous, Holy, of Good Report, of things that turn our eyes to the Lord. We are to shun Sin, the smell of Sin, even the slightest whiff of Sin, and when confronted "in your face" with Sin, rebuke it with Scripture. Give the enemy, Satan, no foothold of even the slightest edge of advantage. Play with his inch, he'll take a mile. Picture a chart that goes from "0%" to "100%, the 0 at one end and the 100 at the other end. Put a dot something between 0 and 100 representing where you stand, personally, showing what you call an "acceptable" place to stand between 100% HOLY, and 0% holy. (0% being pure satanic). Question, does your dot move, even the slightest, during this Halloween season? If not, is that a GOoD thing? If so, is that a bad thing? Only you can answer the question and I won't ask for your answer. But if God asks, will you, Be Blessed?
