MORNINGTIME 2938

And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, BUT HE SHALL RECEIVE AN HUNDREDFOLD NOW IN THIS TIME, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, WITH PERSECUTIONS; AND in the world to come ETERNAL LIFE. Mark 10:29-30. This is a comparison of all the family, friends, and stuff YOU USED TO HAVE AS A SINNER IN THE WORLD, and now compares you as a Christian, a Follower of Christ with His Family and His Provisions in this Life, and in the one to come. The term "hundredfold" is a number trying to compare the value of all the things YOU had as a sinner, and the Life In Christ YOU now have as a Believer. As if you could put any kind of a numerical difference between the two. It's ok, Jesus had to use some kind of a reference between the two that people then, AND people today could relate to. Just for the fun of it, go ahead and try to put a comparative value on the difference between you as a sinner, and you as a Saved. Does "hundredfold" still work, or does that number kinda drop by the wayside as the term "PRICELESS" come into focus??? This was the Question Judas asked himself. Was eternity with Christ, sometime in the future, worth more than the 30 pieces of Silver he  could have now??? In his little world of Value, the Money won out, AND HE LOST. Let's try this in today's terms. ARE YOU CONTENT TO HAVE CHRIST AS YOUR EVERYTHING, YOUR SOLE PROVIDER, or do you dream about winning the Lottery and what you could do with a 600 million dollar tax free check? Let's go even further. As a christian, is your first answer to this question, "I would first pay my tithe", (a very religious and Christ Pleasing answer), AND THEN THINK ON ALL THE OTHER THINGS YOU COULD DO WITH THE REST OF THE MONEY? Be careful, do you have a hidden secret Love Of Money that COULD be showing you you might not, Be Blessed?
