Then they sought to take (Jesus): but no man laid hands on him, BECAUSE HIS HOUR WAS NOT YET COME. The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning Him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take Him. And some of them would have taken Him; BUT NO MAN LAID HANDS ON HIM. John 7:30,32,44. Again, Jesus is our Great Example, and His Life is showing us the Way we are to go. Jesus came to earth for a specific purpose and nothing, not even Satan, was going to stop Him from doing what He was called to do. "And the saying pleased the whole multitude: AND THEY CHOSE STEPHEN, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost... AND STEPHEN, full of faith and power, DID GREAT WONDERS AND MIRACLES among the people. Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the Wisdom and the Spirit by which he spake. And they stirred up THE PEOPLE, and THE ELDERS, AND THE SCRIBES, and came upon him , and CAUGHT HIM, and brought him to the council", Acts 6:5,8-10,12. AND CAST HIM OUT OF THE CITY, AND STONED HIM: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul. And (Stephen) kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, HE FELL ASLEEP (dead). Acts 7:58,60. Stephen was raised up to preach his one greatest sermon ever, and then to die. His "time" had come. No Christian, following the leading of the Holy Spirit, will die before "his Time". Satan CAN NOT kill a Christian unless and until (it goes through the Throne Room), and the Lord allows it. YOU WILL NOT DIE UNTIL THE LORD SAYS, "NOW YOU WILL (DIE) COME HOME", and not a moment before. We all have an allotted length of time on this earth, and we know not how long. Make it count for Christ and to His Glory, and, Be Blessed.
