Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, IT SHALL BE DONE FOR THEM of my Father which is in heaven. (This, all by itself, is where the prosperity preachers get their "authority" to "name it and claim it"). For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:19-20. (This is getting better, now there are at least 2 or 3 like-minded Believers, {better checks and balances}, who are to Biblically ask the Lord for the same thing). Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, THAT YE MAY CONSUME IT UPON YOUR LUSTS. Submit yourselves therefore to God. (If you and your group of Prayer Partners will Seek The Face Of Christ, and ONLY ask for those things the Lord specifically says to ask for, you're moving in the right direction). Resist the devil, (and the Worldly Things he tries to distract you with to ask for), and he will flee from you. (Finish your Prayer "in Jesus Holy Name", and that helps stop Satan in his tracks). Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. (You must come to God on His Terms, as He Directed in His Word). Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. (Do you have secret sins, still unrepentant and unforgiven in your Heart?). Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, (ask the Lord that ALL of, and ONLY, His Will Be Done, and nothing of YOUR will), and he shall lift you up. James 4:2-3,7-8,10. Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but HIS that sent me. If any man will do HIS will, he shall know of THE DOCTRINE, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh HIS glory that sent HIM, (Christ), the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. John 7:16-18. PRAYERS ANSWERED, Be Blessed.
