MORNINGTIME 3000
by Benjamin Munsell on January 15, 2019MORNINGTIME 3000
And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for THERE SHALL BE NO LOSS OF ANY MAN'S LIFE AMONG YOU, but of the ship. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, GOD HATH GIVEN THEE ALL THEM THAT SAIL WITH THEE. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me. And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing. Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: FOR THERE SHALL NOT AN HAIR FALL FROM THE HEAD OF ANY OF YOU. And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it , he began to eat. THEN WERE THEY ALL OF GOOD CHEER, and they also took some meat. AND WE WERE in all in the ship TWO HUNDRED THREESCORE AND SIXTEEN SOULS. (276 men). Acts 27:22-25,33-37. AND AFTER THREE MONTHS we departed in a ship of Alexandria,... And when we came to Rome, the centurion DELIVERED THE PRISONERS to the captain of the guard: but Paul was suffered to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him. Acts 28:11,16. (So much to say and so little space). Could it have been...? A prison ship of 276 sailors, guards, and convicts going to Rome, many to die (???), Paul included. On this journey, every THING is destroyed, but for the sake of Paul, every LIFE is spared. WITH AMAZING MIRACLES EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. All 276 men saw the Mighty Hand of God and His Keeping Power. How many of these men started out as "heathen", and got to Rome PREACHING CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED??? From prisoners, to Preachers, all because of one little boat ride, AND THE CHANGING POWER OF CHRIST. A few months with Christ, and you'll NEVER be the same again, and people around you will change too. What a Way to, Be Blessed.
