And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but PAUL was suffered to DWELL BY HIMSELF WITH A SOLDIER that kept him. And Paul dwelt TWO WHOLE YEARS IN HIS own hired HOUSE, AND RECEIVED ALL THAT CAME in UNTO HIM, PREACHING THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, NO MAN FORBIDDING HIM. Acts 28:16,30-31. What A Life Paul had. From big time murderer at the start of the early church, to big time Preacher at the end of his Life. He'd seen it all and Preached it all. No man had suffered more for Christ than Paul, the Apostle. He was even stoned to death, and the Lord still wouldn't let him die. The rest of his bio is all about almost death, close, but not quite. Please note, you don't get to die until THE LORD HIMSELF says you get to die. Man can "kill" you as many times as they try, but you don't die until God calls you home. Anyway, Paul lived, "died", and preached hard to any and all he could.  Now comes the fun part. Paul was taken before Caesar to plead his case, and to Preach Christ and Him Crucified. What a privilege to Testify of Christ to the head of Rome. Not only that, but Paul was able to spend the last 2 years of his Life quietly, and comfortably Preaching Christ to ALL who came to his humble abode. No looking over his shoulder, no fear of anyone, just Preaching and Teaching his little heart out. What a nice way to finish off his Life. Yes, then Caesar finished off Paul's life, and even that was quick. Here's my point. Paul Lived Hard, Preached Hard, and Suffered Hard most of his life. A Life with a little taste of Hell. But the Lord, in His Kindness, Mercy, and Grace, allowed Paul to Finish Strong with 2 years of a little Taste of Heaven in his own hired house, talking to people who WANTED to hear what he had to Say. What A Way to Bless Christ, and be Blessed by Christ. Ya, what A Life, what A Way to, Be Blessed.
