Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the TEMPLE of the Living God; as God hath said, I will DWELL in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore COME OUT from among them, and be ye SEPARATE, saith the Lord, and TOUCH NOT the unclean thing ; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18. Having therefore these promises, Dearly Beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.2 Corinthians 7:1. TEMPLE: "The spiritual temple consisting of the saints of all ages joined together BY and IN Christ". DWELL: "Inhabit, to live in one and influence him (for good)". COME OUT: "To move or travel away from sin". SEPARATE: "to mark off from others by boundaries, to limit, to go away from (bad things)". TOUCH NOT: "To not fasten one's self to, adhere to, cling to. The Levitical practice of having no fellowship with heathen practices or lifestyles". (Let's not go legalistic here). Believers are to Share Christ and talk about Christ and how He has changed your Life, yes. But Believers are NOT to partake of and share in the heathen life and lifestyle. Yes, we live among sinners, "the dead", but we are not to participate in "dead" things with them. To partake of sin WITH a sinner does NOT show them you love them. And a sinner cannot partake of Life with a Believer. Again, oil and water don't mix. ONLY THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN CROSS THE GREAT DIVIDE BETWEEN SINNER AND SAVED, and "explain" to the sinner that he needs Christ as the only Way to Be Saved, and to, Be Blessed.
