And as (Peter and John) spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them, Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold, (jail), unto the next day: for it was now eventide. Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand. And when (the priests) had set (Peter and John) in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? (And they answered), Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this (lame) man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the Head of the Corner. NEITHER IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER: for there is none other NAME UNDER HEAVEN given among men, WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED. Acts 4:1-4,7,10-12. This is a pure example of Spiritual Warfare. It cannot be fought by the flesh. Just the mention of The Name of Jesus, The Christ, sends Satan shuddering. He knows he can't stop Christ, but he will try to stop Christians from believing and using That Name. If Satan can act big enough, yell loud enough, and look mean enough to scare the Christian into submission to be quiet about His Testimony, Satan wins, this round. BUT AS THE CHRISTIAN GROWS IN CHRIST, AND UNDERSTANDS HIS REAL AUTHORITY IN AND THROUGH CHRIST, Satan has to flee. There is Real Power in and through Christ when the Believer understands that all Satan can do is buffet the body, BUT HE CAN'T TOUCH THE MIND, SPIRIT, OR SOUL OF THE BELIEVER. NOW, the Believer Lives in Total Victory and will Freely Preach and Teach Christ WITH NO MORE FEAR OF MAN OR SATAN. The physical body may "take a hit", but the Spirit in man will always, Be Blessed.
