MORNINGTIME 3153

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. "Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward". Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 2 John 1:7-10. Verse 8 above is in quotes. It's a big warning to Believers to remember all that we have been Godly taught and to not forget them, don't let them fade from your memory, keep them fresh in your mind, heart, and spirit always. Satan wants to help you forget all you've ever heard about Christ and will take every opportunity he can. Skip reading, (I've read it all before), skip praying, (Good knows my needs before I even ask), skip talking about Christ, (I don't want to beat them over the head with the Gospel), just get lazy, AND DON'T... Lack of use and things get rusty, and the rustier things get the harder it is to get them back into good operating condition. When it comes to GOoD Christian practices, it truly is a case of "Use it or lose it". And Satan wants you to lose as much as possible. The underlining problem here is SELF DECEPTION. Things like, I'm OK, I'm strong enough, I can handle it, and like things, is us deciding WE KNOW MORE THAN GOD! He says, read, study, pray, fellowship, don't forsake the gathering of the Believers, CONTINUOUSLY. (No legalism here please). This isn't about rules and regulations, it's all about, Heart Attitude and your REAL Love for Christ and His Word. Yes, we have to deal with real life everyday, but is your real life Covered by Christ, or does it just include Christ, when you have time to fit Him in? Self deception is just as sneaky as a full force attack by Satan himself. Be Careful, Be Blessed.
