Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, [16] Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, Proverbs 9:4,16. The same verse in two separate places with two different meanings. Verse 4 is Wisdom calling out to a simple man to come to feast at the Table of Wisdom and to go in the Way of Understanding of the Things of the Lord. It's all GOoD. But verse 16 is a foolish woman calling the simple man to come and enjoy the fruits of worldliness, "But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell". Proverbs 9:18. As you walk down the road of Everyday Life, on one side Wisdom calls out for you to feast at Her Table. In the other side, the foolish woman is calling you away from Wisdom and into Sin. It's your choice and it's an easy one, you go left, or you go right. It's that simple. But while you're thinking about the direction you should take, the Holy Spirit is also gently wooing you to do The Right Thing. Some call this, "Conscience". If you choose Wisdom and Understanding your day will go very nicely. But if you choose the foolish way of the world, just for a moment to enjoy just a few pleasures, because, you know, no one's looking, no one will get hurt, you can handle it, AS YOU TAKE A STEP TOWARDS HELL. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS STILL WORKING ON YOU, AND YOU KNOW IT, QUICKLY, REPENT, TURN FROM THIS EVIL WAY, and save yourself from this untoward generation. That's it folks, Wisdom, and foolishness, in a nut shell. Your day is full of "one step at a time" situations. Choose Life and Live. Choose foolishness and die, just a little more, each time you choose to Sin. CHRIST WILL SAVE, HEAL, AND DELIVER YOU, from any depth of sin you're in. If you're still breathing, HE CAN SAVE YOU FULLY, COMPLETELY, AND TOTALLY, no matter how bad, or how deep, you think you're in. Christ IS the Answer, to, Be Blessed.
