MORNINGTIME 3211

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7-8. BUT YE ARE a CHOSEN generation, a ROYAL priesthood, an HOLY nation, a PECULIAR PEOPLE; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His Marvellous Light: 1 Peter 2:9. Yes, we all start off as wretched sinners on our way to Hell. If you are now a Christian, somewhere along the line you were seeking Truth, asking who Christ was, and looking for The Door to Heaven, through Christ. But to get to this end result of Chosen, Royal, Holy, and Peculiar people takes training, discipline, obedience and determination to go through whatever it takes, to get to this end result. Some people will find this fairly easy, some will find it difficult, but do-able. Both will find it well worth whatever it took to get there. And to "get there" is not the finished result, but a continual Growing in Christ and CHRISTLIKENESS. My point is this, if you're willing to run headlong straight into Christ and allow Him to do ALL that it takes for Him to take you from wretched sinner to Secure Saint, YOU'RE ALREADY PAST THE HARD PART. All you have to do is be WILLING, and Christ will do the Rest. He is Gracious, Tender, and Merciful to all His sheep. It does hurt when the Good Shepherd has to pull out thorns, cut out clumps of matted hair, and reset broken bones, but His sheep Know, and Trust Him to do these things the Best Way possible. To "trust and obey" is far better than to try to micromanage how WE think He should do the job. To run to Christ and ask Him to bring you into CHRISTLIKENESS is His Heart's Desire and THAT was the hard part. Now sit back and Obediently "enjoy the ride" as He takes care of all the details. Christ Loves You, and the world hates you, and He will bring you through ALL your troubles, and you WILL, Be Blessed.
