Behold, My Servant (Christ) shall deal prudently, He shall be Exalted and Extolled, and be Very High. As many were astonied at Thee; his visage (the sight of Him, His appearance, the vision of what you would see were you to look at Him as He was nailed to the cross), was so marred (disfigurement)  more than any man, and His Form (shape, form, outline, figure, appearance), more than the sons of men: So shall (His Blood) sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at (the sight of) him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider. Isaiah 52:13-15. In short, Christ shall be greatly lifted up and exalted above all men, AFTER He was hung on the cross where He was beaten and tortured beyond human recognition. The Day is coming when all the kings of the earth will see Christ for Who He really Is, and they will shut their mouths in humility. Christ was beaten to a bloody pulp, his beard was ripped out, he had a crown of 2 inch long thorns crammed down onto his head and into his skull. He was whipped 39 times with a cat of 9 trails, a whipping device with multiple leather stands, each with broken glass, sharp metal, and hooks tied onto each stand end. Many people died from the whipping alone. After his scourging, (whipping), he was forced to carry part of his cross part way to the place of crucifixion where he was nailed to the cross, to hang in pure agony. He was nailed through his wrists through the nerve causing great pain. His feet were individually nailed to the cross. And just to add insult to injury, he were naked. Don't be fooled by these godless pictures of Christ with a full beard, a drop of blood on each hand, and ropes around his arms, as he's standing on a footrest. He not only physically suffered, he carried the weight of sin of every person on planet earth in his shoulders. GOD HIMSELF would not let Christ bleed out and die until, "IT IS FINISHED". Now, we can Live and, Be Blessed.
