Whosoever BELIEVETH that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is BORN OF GOD overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, EVEN OUR FAITH. Who is HE THAT OVERCOMETH the world, but he that BELIEVETH THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD? 1 John 5:1-5. Most American "christians" believe in jesus the same as, (illustration), you're on an airplane and see a neat stack of parachutes in the corner and "know" that they can save you, if you ever needed one. Ho Hum, yawn, and go back to reading the magazine. But to the Overcoming Believer, when the pilot of the airplane comes back and says, "The plane is in trouble, put on your parachute AND JUMP", the Believer gladly straps on the chute and quickly jumps out of the plane KNOWING WITH FULL CONFIDENCE AND FAITH, that he will safely land with no harm or hurt. The Overcoming Believer Loves Christ, Loves those who also belong to Christ, Loves those who don't belong to Christ, Loves, Reads, and Studies the Words of Christ, and will gladly share Christ with others. He KNOWS that Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, and shares that Knowledge with others. This is not about, "How many did you Save this week", this IS about, does your Life reflect Christ so well that others also come to Believe that He is the ONLY Way into a Glorious Life Eternal? Yes, only Christ can Save, BUT YOU CAN GIVE THEM GOOD REASON TO BELIEVE THAT TOO. To Love Christ is to share Him with others, through Word AND Deed. If you Truly Love Christ, how can you possibly stay quiet about that Love? Ask the Holy Spirit to Grow you in Christ, in Faith, Obedience, AND Boldness, that others will come to the Saving Faith in Christ, and, Be Blessed.
