IN EVERY THING GIVE THANKS: FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING YOU. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Can you take the words, "EVERY THING" and highlight them, underline them, and BOLD them so that they absolutely stand out from all other words? Then can you take the whole verse and put it as a Banner over your head representing this as the goal you have set for yourself in your Growing In Christ? That way, no matter what happens in your day, no matter how "bad" or how "hard" your day goes, you will do your best to GIVE THANKS, in all things? Can you say, "Thank you Lord" during the next day, the next week, the next year, the next 7 years, the next test of your life, AND TRUST HIM THAT HE HAS EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL, THAT HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU IN EVERY SITUATION, AND THAT EVERY SITUATION HE HOLDS IN YOUR FUTURE IS FOR YOUR GROWTH AND GROWTH IN CHRISTLIKENESS??? Maybe you can't yet say "Yes" to all this, but can you say that this is the direction you and the Lord are heading in? CHRISTLIKENESS is a continually Growing Thing, and all the Lord asks of you is that you're willing to keep moving in that direction. Don't look at ANYTHING of the future and worry or become fearful, YOU'RE NOT THERE YET. In Christ, when you do get "There" YOU WILL BE READY. So stop worrying, don't be fearful, AND FULLY TRUST CHRIST to have you not just ready, BUT READY TO RUN FULL TILT STRAIGHT INTO THE GATES OF HELL TO SNATCH OUT OF SATAN'S HANDS THOSE HE THOUGHT WERE HIS, and bring them back to the Lord. THAT'S the Love of Christ IN ACTION. Don't just be a sheep, BE A SHEEP ENCOURAGER. Go after your lost friends and bring them to Christ. Someone did that for you. Love says you'll do it for them. What an Opportunity, to help "save" a lost sinner from the wrath of Hell. The time is coming when Believers will stand together FEARLESS of anything and everything. Even today, is the best Day to start this Journey with Christ, and to, Be Blessed.
