Because he hath set his love upon me, (the Lord) therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known My Name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I WILL DELIVER HIM, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him My Salvation. Psalm 91:14-16. This is a wonderful Psalm of Promise, Encouragement, and Faith Building. And as with other Promises in the Bible, everything needs to be taken in context being careful to read its meaning as intended, and not as we want it to be. For example, "I WILL DELIVER HIM", does not necessarily mean the Lord will deliver you from trouble BEFORE the trouble starts, it may very well mean that when trouble comes at you, the Lord may take you ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE BATTLE, and Deliver you VICTORIOUSLY out the other side. It could be Deliverance before, or it could be after, the Battle. How and when the Lord shows you Victory is totally up to Him. Before, during, after, all options are available. The one He picks for you will be a custom tailored answer just for you and your situation. Whatever Answer He gives you, will be sure to Grow you AND your Faith in the Lord, and to be sure that HE gets all the credit and Glory for your Victory. Everyone is different. And The Word is not just black ink on white paper, but a Living Document custom tailored for you to Grow into Full Maturity in CHRISTLIKENESS. Fully walking in Holiness, Righteousness, Purity AND Patience. No, the Word will not have some NEW meaning or doctrine for you, it will have The Meaning CHRIST has for you, from His Word. Whatever Way the Lord uses His Word can be different for two people sitting side by side in church. The Word, applied by the Hands of Christ to your Life, will be Better than anything you could ever imagine. His Way, His Answer to your situation will ALWAYS be The Best, the most Perfect Way you may not have even considered. In His Way, you will, Be Blessed.
