MORNINGTIME 3292

NOW if we be dead with Christ, we believe that WE SHALL ALSO LIVE WITH HIM: Knowing that CHRIST being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he LIVETH UNTO GOD. Likewise RECKON YE ALSO yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but ALIVE UNTO GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but YIELD YOURSELVES UNTO GOD, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members AS INSTRUMENTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but UNDER GRACE. Romans 6:8-14. ALL Believers not only want to Be LIKE Christ, they are Desirously Willing to have Christ so Grow in them that as He Grows, that person's self, flesh, and old man nature are being shoved out of the way to make more room for Christ. The thief on the cross wanted to be like Christ. The Apostle Paul wanted to be like Christ, and both men died, In Christ. Yes, Paul had more time on this side to "physically" and Spiritually Grow into CHRISTLIKENESS, but in the end, both men are now fully Like Christ. Here's my point. Use every day that you're alive here on earth to Grow in Obedience to the Leading of the Holy Spirit, as He Grows you into Christ Likeness to the degree the Lord has designed for you before He calls you Home. We each Grow to different "amounts" on this side, and will end up Perfectly In Christ on the other. Don't compare your Walk with Christ to anyone here on earth, just set your eyes and goals on Christ, and let Him work out the details. And in your Walk, if you fall down, get back up, brush off, and keep Growing into CHRISTLIKENESS, one day at a time, one Obedience at a time, until all you see is Christ. Even those around you will see Christ In You, as you and they both will, Be Blessed.
