MORNINGTIME 3293

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: FOR YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW, BUT UNDER GRACE. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. Romans 6:12-18. Here's an example of living under the law, and living under Grace. Back in the Old Testament, you were to obey your parents in all they asked you to do. When you turned 18 years of age, if your parents decided that you were a rebellious son that did not obey them, they could take you to the city gate, tell everyone there that you were a disobedient, rebellious son, AND HAVE YOU STONED DEAD, ON THE SPOT. End of problem. Today, the Lord still hates Rebellion in children AND adults, but no more stoning. He WILL Judge you Righteously, someday, but not necessarily today.  In fact, you may even start to believe that you're not a sinner because God hadn't Judged you, or killed you. Don't be fooled, the Lord won't be mocked. He's just giving you more time to get things Right with Him. The Great White Throne Judgment will be here soon enough, for ALL to be Righteously Judged. TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. You may not have tomorrow available. Don't die in your sins and totally miss out on God's Wonderful Mercy and Grace. Don't assume things that are not yours to assume. Be Saved, and, Be Blessed.
