MORNINGTIME 3297

If any be blameless... not accused of riot or unruly. For a {Christian) must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; Holding fast the faithful Word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the (unbelievers). Titus 1:6-9. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17. We must understand the "office" of Christian and who we are in Christ, before we can understand a "higher" office in the church. In the beginning, you were a "gainsayer", an unbeliever, one who sinned against God everyday. The Holy Spirit came to show you the truth about you, compared to The Truth of Christ. At that moment, you had to throw down and silence the "gainsaying" of your flesh, self, and old man nature, and by Faith, accept the reality of your need for Christ. As Priest of your Holy Temple, you had to silence and cast out your own unbelief, and by Faith, follow the Higher Authority of Christ. You had to see The Truth, as the Holy Spirit gave it to you, and apply it to your own life. My point? (and please read carefully), you had to convince your Self of your need for Christ, and now, as a Christian,  YOU ARE NOW QUALIFIED TO CONVINCE OTHERS OF THEIR NEED FOR CHRIST. As the Bishop of your own temple, you are now qualified to go forth (in the Power of the Holy Spirit) to Preach, Teach, and convince others of their need for Christ. Your flock of first you, may soon grow to include family, friends, and neighbors. Maybe you're not a "Church Bishop", but you are the Bishop in your own Temple. Just like a real Bishop, GO SHARE CHRIST WITH A LOST AND DYING WORLD, that ALL may come to Know Christ, and, Be Blessed.
