And he (Jesus) said, A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, GIVE ME THE PORTION OF GOODS THAT FALLETH TO ME. And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, FATHER, I HAVE SINNED against heaven, and before thee, Luke 15:11-13,17-18. It seems as though the Prodigal son was a go-getter, he knew there was something more than just life on the farm and he wanted to go find it. Granted, he missed the part about obeying the Mosaic Laws and handling money properly, but he did go looking, for something. He listened to the wrong people and lost all his inheritance. BUT HIS HEART WAS RIGHT. When he saw the error of his ways, HE RAN BACK TO THE FATHER, and in deep Repentance and Humility asked to be one of his servants. He now knew the Godly value of family and money. He "Got Saved" from his old sinful ways and took on the Mantle of an Obedient Son gladly Desiring to work WITH THE FATHER, and all that he asked. (The Bible seems to be going in this direction of understanding). I want to assume the Son is now a Profitable Partner in his Father's Endeavors. Do YOU understand the Value of Godly Training? Maybe your family life was a mess, OK, BUT ARE YOU READY, TODAY, TO FOLLOW YOUR DADDY, THE LORD, IN ALL HE ASKS OF YOU??? The Father's Plan is ALWAYS better than we know, and all He asks is that you Trust Him to absolutely take Perfect care of you. Are you still, The Prodigal? Or do you now put all your Trust and Faith in the Creator of all things? The Lord has a Plan for you way above anything you could hope for or dream of. HE'S THE PERFECT FATHER, and He wants you to, Be Blessed.
