MORNINGTIME 3315

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, HATH HE QUICKENED TOGETHER WITH HIM, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, TRIUMPHING OVER THEM in it. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: WHICH ARE A SHADOW OF THINGS TO COME; but the body is of Christ. Colossians 2:13 -17. Here's an illustration; when you look at a single cell under a microscope, it looks huge with great detail of all its many parts. When you look into the great vastness of space through a huge telescope, it all looks huge and we seen so tiny. When a baby is born and enters into this thing called "life", or someone dies and enters into a place of no life, these are all, a shadow of things to come. Your most incredible moment of ecstatic joy, and your saddest moment devoid of explanation, are but shadows of things to come. This life on earth as compared to Life in Heaven, a painful death on earth as compared to Eternity in Hell, are but a shadow OF THINGS TO COME. Life and death here on earth, are but shadows of things to come. For the Believer, this Life in Christ is but a tiny precursor of Eternity With Him. A life without Christ, is but a shadow of the "life" OF DEATH IN HELL.  Whoever you are and whatever your doing, TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. EVERYTHING about every aspect of this "life" here on earth, is but a shadow of things to come. Sinner, you've already tasted of a drop of Hell, come to Christ in Repentance and Forgiveness and get a tiny taste of Life in the Heavenlies. Both ways are way too great to explain here. Just a little Faith now to come to Christ is even a shadow of the Great Faith He will give you while still on this side. Have  Faith, and, Be Blessed.
