But God commendeth His Love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now Justified by His Blood, we shall be saved from Wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, WE WERE RECONCILED TO GOD by the death of His Son, much more, being Reconciled, we shall be saved by His Life. Romans 5:8-10. Thayer's Definition "To change, exchange, as coins for others of equivalent value, to reconcile (those who are at variance), return to favour with, be reconciled to one, to receive one into favour". And all things are of God, who hath Reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of Reconciliation; Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye Reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:18,20. Adam sinned and blew it for all mankind. Christ had Paid the Price to bring us back to Fellowship with God. Back into Fellowship with the Lord also means back into Holiness, Righteousness, Purity, and Patience. The Holy Spirit knows how to get us there, but our flesh will very often try to get in the way. When we sin, Conviction should be enough to get us back. If not, then the Lord may use an Adversary to prod us back from stubbornness into willing Compliance. Eventually Knowledge and Understanding make it all clear and the Desire to Obey the Lord becomes Paramount. Reconciliation through Christ is the start, Eternity with Him is the end, and the Lord will use anything He needs to to make that happen, including Adversity and Judgment. Our flesh may put up a fight, but Christ has already Won The Battle. Rejoice, even in Adversity and Tribulation, it's all from the Lord's Hands, and it's all for our GOoD. Praise and Thank the Lord for EVERYTHING in your Life today. It took an Act of God, to accomplish a Work in man, that man would come to God WILLINGLY, to Inherit His Promises and FOREVER, Be Blessed.
