He that walketh in his uprightness FEARETH THE LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth Him. Proverbs 14:2. The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS CLEAN, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Psalm 19:7-10. YE THAT FEAR THE LORD, PRAISE HIM; all ye the seed of Jacob, GLORIFY HIM; AND FEAR HIM, all ye the seed of Israel. Psalm 22:23. Oh how GREAT is Thy GOODNESS, which Thou hast laid up FOR THEM THAT FEAR THEE; which Thou hast wrought for them that trust in Thee before the sons of men! Psalm 31:19. Let all the earth FEAR THE LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world STAND IN AWE OF HIM. For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. Psalm 33:8-9. Behold, the Eye of the Lord is upon THEM THAT FEAR HIM, upon them that hope in His mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the Lord: He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His Holy Name. Let Thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in Thee. Psalm 33:18-22. One definition of "To Fear The Lord", You are so Saturated with the PRESENCE of His Holiness, Righteousness and Purity, in your mind, soul, spirit and body, that you would not dare to turn and run FROM Him, but to run TO Him in Great Fear, Love, Respect and Honour of WHO HE IS. "But I (Christ) will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear Him, which after He hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear Him". Luke 12:5. The more you Fear the Lord, the more you will DESIROUSLY Obey and Honour the Lord. FEAR HIM, and, Be Blessed.
