Therefore thou shalt love the Lord thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway. And what he did unto you in the wilderness, until ye came into this place; Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it; And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey. A land which the Lord thy God careth for: the eyes of the Lord thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year. Deuteronomy 11:1,5,8-9,12. Yes, this is talking about the Lord bringing His People into a physical Promised Land with all its blessings if they will continue to follow Him. And it also represents people coming out of the land of Sin and into the Promised Land of Forgiveness with all the benefits of Love, Joy, Peace and Salvation. It's a land that Christ Himself shall lead us to and through ALL the days of our lives AND our Eternity. As we follow Christ leading us through this amazing thing called Life, His instructions will keep us on that narrow pathway that leads Home. Think about it, if you have your eyes set on Christ, as you learn to Obey His commands, you actually won't see "the path" and just how narrow it looks or the pitfalls around it, you'll put your feet exactly where He says to, and keep walking forward. Like walking a tightrope, you don't look at the rope and your feet, you look straight ahead AT THE GOAL, THE FINISH LINE, THE PLACE OF SUCCESS IN CHRIST. His directions will keep you from traps, snares, pitfalls and deceptions. Don't look AT those things, look at CHRIST as He watches you and keeps you safe. Only when you get your eyes off Him and on to other things will you stumble. Yes, we stumble as we Grow in CHRISTLIKENESS, and the key word here is GROW. So Grow, and, Be Blessed.
