But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of (many tribes and nations). Of the nations concerning which the Lord said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall NOT go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: FOR SURELY THEY WILL TURN AWAY YOUR HEART AFTER THEIR GODS: Solomon clave unto these (women) in love. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: AND HIS WIVES TURNED AWAY HIS HEART. For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart AFTER OTHER GODS: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father. For Solomon went after (the gods) Ashtoreth... and after Milcom... AND SOLOMON DID EVIL in the sight of the Lord, AND WENT NOT FULLY AFTER THE LORD, as did David his father. AND THE LORD WAS ANGRY WITH SOLOMON, because his heart was turned from the Lord God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, 1 Kings 11:1-6,9. Solomon, ONCE the Wisest man on earth, left his First Love, a Real Love and Adoration for the Lord God. "Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; ... I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, ... and for My Name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because THOU HAST LEFT THY FIRST LOVE. Remember therefore from whence THOU ART FALLEN, and REPENT, ... To him that OVERCOMeth will I give to EAT OF THE TREE OF LIFE, which is in the midst of the paradise of God". Revelation 2:1-5,7. From an Obedience point of view, no matter how Great your Walk has been with the Lord your God, BE CAREFUL THAT YOU DON'T FALL from His Grace. It HAS happened to the best of them. LITTLE disobediencences grow into BIG disobediencences, and they can cause you to NOT Overcome. How far can you fall? TOO FAR! RUN TO CHRIST, Be Obedient in ALL things, Examine yourself, look in God's Mirror of Holiness, Righteousness and Purity, REPENT OF SIN, and Forever, Be Blessed.
