MORNINGTIME 3560

Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, AS A MAN CHASTENETH HIS SON, so the Lord thy GOD CHASTENETH THEE. Deuteronomy 8:5. I will be his father, and he shall be My son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him WITH THE ROD of men, AND with the STRIPES OF the children of MEN: But My Mercy shall not depart away from him... 2 Samuel 7:14-15. Behold, HAPPY IS the man WHOM GOD CORRECTETH: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: For He maketh sore, and bindeth up: He woundeth, and His Hands make whole. Job 5:17-18. Then He openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction (unto Salvation), That He may withdraw man from his purpose (of going to sin), and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit (of Hell), and his life from perishing by the sword. Job 33:16-18. O Lord, REBUKE ME NOT IN THINE ANGER, neither chasten me (with no Mercy) in thy hot displeasure. Psalm 6:1. O Lord, REBUKE ME NOT IN THY WRATH: neither chasten me (with no Mercy) in thy hot displeasure. Psalm 38:1. BLESSED IS the man WHOM THOU CHASTENETH, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law; That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged FOR THE WICKED. For the Lord will not cast off His people, neither will He forsake his inheritance. But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it. Psalm 94:12-15. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. THE LORD HATH CHASTENED ME SORE: BUT he hath NOT given me over UNTO DEATH. Open to me the gates of Righteousness: I will go into them, and I will Praise The Lord: This gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter. I will praise Thee: for THOU hast heard me, and ART BECOME MY SALVATION. Psalm 118: 17-21. But when we (Believers) are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. 1 Corinthians 11:32. Believers are chastened unto CHRISTLIKENESS, and will Eternally, Be Blessed.
